In the process of turning on Roundups in the app, you'll have chosen a schedule, Bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) or Monthly, by which you'd like your Roundups to be collected from your connected bank account.
Once you've completed setup, we start monitoring your bank transactions, through Open Banking, and keep a running total of what will need to be rounded up. On the day before collecting, you'll get a reminder from us of how much we're going to be collecting the next day so you know in advance.
What if a payment fails?
You'll get a notification in-app that the roundup failed but we'll also automatically retry collecting it up to 2 times in the following 2 days. If on the 3rd collection attempt it fails again, we'll cancel that collection order and no funds will be collected from your bank account.
